I am a long-standing lover of to-do lists but recently they just seem to be getting longer!
For the last few weeks I've been buzzing with New Year vibes and have been spring cleaning my house and my life with vigour. With such enthusiastic productivity, you'd think my to-do list would be shrinking but that doesn't seem to be the case. After a little soul searching, I realised my to-do lists were actually becoming welcome distractions for the real things I needed to get done.
This past week, I've made some real progress. How? By tackling the worst things on the list first. Each morning, I sit down and ask myself which 'to-do' I'm dreading the most. Which one makes my stomach turn. And I tackle that first. It's definitely not the most fun way to do things but it really does seem to be helping.
